You are never fully dressed without a smile. Press Release

You are never fully dressed without a smile

Coastal Currents Festival looks set to build on last year's success as it opens in style at Alexandra Park this Friday. The launch sees author Iain Sinclair address the crowds, artist installations in the park, and a turn from the ever popular Bohemia Ukulele Trio.
Also set to return are Back Door Gallery who present 'You Are Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile', a performance by artists Smalls-Murray. When pressed on what to expect performance co-conspirator Luke Murray was characteristically elusive, simply revealing that there will be 'suits, smiles, and murder, but not necessarily in that order'. Fear not though, as the artists later reassured that any murder involving participating audience members will be on a purely metaphoric level.
The launch opens Friday 27 August, 6-9pm, at Eat@ the park & Bandstand area in Alexandra Park. Don't miss out on what promises to be a truly unique event and get down to support one of the most exciting festivals around.
